My Name Is Troy "Trouble" Jones I am Professional Muay Thai & kickboxer. Prior to kickboxing and Muay Thai I went to school for Law Enforcement and played college football at Minnesota State Mankato. After receiving my Law Enforcement degree. I started Training in the martial art form of Muay Thai in 2013. I trained for 1 year and began competing in Tournaments around the country going undefeated. I received an invitation to the United States National Muay Thai Team to compete in Bangkok, Thailand at The IFMA Royal World Cup 2015. Only after 2 years of training I won a Gold Medal in the largest Muay Thai tournament in the world.
I received another invite to compete with USA national Muay Thai team at IFMA 2016 Sweden. I won 1 fight and lost 1 fight. It was phenomenal learning lesson for me as a Amateur fighter to fight against pros on the international Level. I lost to a Top Muay Thai fighter from Thailand with over 100 pro fights, Tengneung. I have 43 Amateur fights all together (40-3). I have now taken that experience and used it as fuel to propel my dedication, passion, & focus to my craft. I made the decision to quit my day job to purse my dreams full time. Along with Training at my Gym Minnesota Martial Arts Academy. I have been traveling around the country to receive the best knowledge and training to help prepare me to make the jump to the professional level. I have many goals that seem out of reach but with consistent hard work I feel I can be one of the best in the world.
