If it was easy everyone would do it.
The life as a fighter is tough. To the fans all you see is 9-15 minutes of the culmination of the work put in. Which is ok; as a fighter I want to provide a finished product. I don’t necessarily want you to see all the hardship that goes into fighting. But I do want to shed some light on the hard work, sacrifice, blood, sweat and tears that goes into it. That’s why I decided to write a blog post about it. I think you as a fan could appreciate and see value in what I do. If you don’t already.
I always find myself saying the same thing when things get tough. If it was easy everyone would do it! I’m not saying you can’t be a fighter if you wanted to, but it takes a certain type of person to want to pursue this lifestyle. And that’s exactly what it is.. a lifestyle, not a career, nor a profession. You live and breathe this shit all day everyday. If you want to be the best you do anyway. I’ve given up so much to pursue this life and has it been worth it?.... Um idk yet. I’ve done some cool shit and gone to some cool places around the world. I can say the journey has been worth it. I’ve learned a lot about myself and my relationship with my wife. As far as a end product, I don’t know where this life can take me. But I don’t see myself having a 9-5 any time soon. I believe success comes to those who survive. In my world only the strong survive and I’m one of the strongest on this planet. So come at me bro it’s time to dig in and get comfortable in the paincave!
